When the Sun Goes Down, Golfers Can Tee up at Phoenix Course

Theo nguồn tin trên trang mạng của phoenix.gov April 19, 2013 Escape the heat with night golf at Palo Verde Course The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department is offering golfers a unique way to escape the daytime heat this spring and summer with night golf at the city’s Palo Verde 9-hole course. The “Night Flight Golf” course will be lined with glow lights and players will receive a glow necklace and glow ball. Each foursome will receive a flash light to wave up the next foursome. For safety reasons no golf carts will be used – golfers will walk or pull a cart. Night golf costs $100/foursome. Each event will be run in a tournament format as a four-person scramble and include fun prizes and a goodie bag for each player. Pre-registration is required by calling 602-249-9930 or by visiting the Palo Verde Golf Course at 6215 N. 15th Ave. The “2013 Night Flight Golf” schedule is: Saturday April 27 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday May 25 – 7 p.m. Friday June 21 – 7:30 p.m. Saturday July 27 – 7 p.m. Saturday Aug. 24 – 7 p.m. Friday Sept. 20 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday Oct. 26 – 5:30 p.m. – Haunted Halloween Night Golf Golfers can get additional information or request a private night golf tournament online at the Phoenix Golf website or by calling 602-249-9930.
