Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov Pueblo Grande Museum is Free May 17 May 15, 2014 In honor of International Museum Day May 17, Phoenix’s Pueblo Grande Museum will be offering free museum admission all day. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Museum will also be offering free gallery tours and have artifact show-and-tell stations set-up in the galleries where guests can see objects up close, ask questions and even get to touch. Pueblo Grande Museum, a Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department facility, is located in central Phoenix at 4619 E. The museum is on the site of a prehistoric Hohokam village where guests can explore a fully accessible 2/3 mile trail through the site with a partially excavated platform mound, ballcourt, and replicated prehistoric houses. The museum also boasts three world-class galleries, including a hands-on gallery especially for kids. International Museum Day has been celebrated all over the world since 1977. The event was created by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) to celebrate that Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, co-operation and peace among peoples.
