Free Immunization Clinic and Child Car Seat Safety Events March 7
March 6, 2015 The Phoenix Fire Department is providing the folllowing free immunization and child car seat safety services on Saturday, March 7. Free Immunization Clinic Free shots for underinsured or uninsured children and adults will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Golden Gate Community Center, 625 N. 39th Ave. Vaccinations will be given to protect children against 15 serious childhood diseases: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Haemophilus Influenza Type B, Pneumococcus, Hepatitis A,Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, Meningococcal Disease, Human Papaloma Virus, and Varicella. Please bring shot records for the kids. Vaccinations for adults include adult Measles, adult Flu and HPV shots. The immunizations are being provided as part of the Phoenix Fire Department’s “Baby Shots” program. Car Seat Safety Installation Demonstration Phoenix Fire Car Seat Technicians will be available to assist installing or checking child car seats at a Bike Safety Rodeo being hosted by Phoenix City Councilman Sal DiCiccio, noon to 4 p.m. at Madison #1 Middle School, 5525 N. 16th St. Eighty percent of child car seats are installed incorrectly. If you’re not sure that your child’s car seat is installed properly in your vehicle, this is a FREE opportunity to have certified Car Seat Technicians install it and educate you on how to make your child as safe as possible.
