Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov Feb. 26, 2014 The Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department’s Latino Institute and Bookmans Entertainment Exchange are offering “Arts and Smarts in the City!” from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 28. This innovative collaboration features arts, live entertainment, digital media games by PBS, refreshments and on-site mixed music by Mega Radio 104.3. The event is a free, fun-filled way for families to engage in education while enjoying the arts. The event offers free admission and is open to all ages. The event will take place inside Bookmans Entertainment Exchange, 8034 N. 19th Ave. The event is designed to enhance educational awareness for kids and their families. Community sponsors include MEGA 104.3 Radio and PBS Eight Education. The event will feature live entertainment of Rock/Blues/Americana by “Mikel & Meridith” of the “Sugar Thieves” Band ; hands-on, interactive Digital Media Games by PBS (for kids ages 2 – 7) and live broadcasting by Mega Radio. Families also can win door prizes and enjoy giveaways. This event is the first of monthly events to be featured at Bookman’s through June 2014. Future dates to be announced.
