Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 12, 2015

The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater in Phoenix AZ is hosting a special charity event for the non-profit service dog organization, Canine Companions for Independence©. This will be the second year that the Mystery Mansion has teamed up with the CCI Arizona. The previous year's event was a glowing success, selling out quickly and raising more than $1900. This year they've raised the bar and will be holding the 150 seat event at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore.

The evening will consist of a live interactive comedy mystery dinner show performed by The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater and a picnic themed buffet dinner complete with Fried Chicken and Apple Cobbler. The evening's Guest speaker will be Veteran and Canine Companions for Independence© program participant, Ken Browne, accompanied by his service dog, Kylie. Emceeing the event is local character and popular Mystery Mansion mainstay, Diva Star. There will also be a meet-and-greet with the guests of honor, and the local Canine Companions themselves.

All proceeds from the event go to benefit Canine Companions for Independence© training programs and to support Petsmart for Patriots—a joint endeavor between Petsmart and CCI in support of Canine Companions' Wounded Veterans Initiative. Canine Companions for Independence© was founded in 1975 and is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs free of charge. They are the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and recognized worldwide for the excellence of their canine graduates, and the quality and longevity of the matches they make between the dogs and people.
