City of Phoenix Pools Open May 24

Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov May 21, 2014 All 29 City of Phoenix pools open this Saturday May 24 for the 2014 season. The pools will be open for the Memorial Day weekend May 24 to May 26 and then reopen for full summer operating hours, including weekdays, on May 31. The 2014 season runs through July 27. Regular hours will be 1 to 7 p.m. six days a week (all pools are closed Fridays). Complete City of Phoenix pool information is available on the Pools link at phoenix.gov/parks. Though many popular classes are full, there still is space in some swim classes and in recreational swim and dive team programs. Group swim lessons cost just $15 for an eight-session class. Staff also is offering semi-private swim classes at four city pools this summer for $40. Recreational swim and dive teams are a great way for kids to strengthen their skills in the four basic strokes and enjoy friendly competitions against swimmers from other city pools. Daily admission at Phoenix city pools is $3 for adults and $1 for seniors age 50 and over and youth age 17 and under. A season pass for a family of four is $75 ($7 for each additional family member). A pass for an individual senior or youth is $20; adult passes cost $30. The Kool Kids program is back again this summer, bringing free pool admission to all youths ages 17 and under at select city pools. Kool Kids is made possible through the generous financial support of the Oakland A’s, Milwaukee Brewers, Salt River Project, Watermill Express, Subway and Pepsi.
