Parker and Sons Prepares for the Scorching Arizona Summer

PHOENIX, June 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — In order to prepare for the scorching Arizona summer, Parker and Sons hires around forty new employees. The summer months are a busy time for HVAC service providers, because to be without air-conditioning in the Arizona summer would be a waking nightmare. Logo – http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20150629/226672LOGO In order to prevent AC malfunction, it is highly recommended to seek regular maintenance by a licensed professional. Parker and Sons has been rated the number one service provider in the valley five times over by Ranking Arizona. In order to maintain their top spot, the additional hires were necessary to comply with growing demand in summer. “Every year we prepare for the summer like it’s a new excursion. The summer months are a sensitive time for our industry, because it’s our time to step up to the plate and perform despite the extreme temperature associated with the Arizona summer,” said Josh Kelly, Partner at Parker and Sons. Indeed, any resident of Arizona knows that Phoenix during the summer can turn into an episode from Dante’s Inferno real fast. That is why it’s a safe bet to bring a professional to deal with AC issues, rather than attempting to deal with AC issues alone. But for those do it yourself types, some maintenance tips follow. First, make sure you regularly clean your AC filter. The filter is known to attract and accumulate dust and debris, which can interfere with the function of your AC unit. As a secondary maintenance precaution, cleaning your AC coils is also important. In the world of HVAC, the little things can make all the difference. But it is always best to leave the fate of your AC in the hands of professionals. Parker and Sons is one such professional that is highly regarded by the Phoenix community. Their customer satisfaction guarantee distinguishes them from the pack. What’s more they require all their technicians to complete a difficult, comprehensive certification process. Lastly, Parker and Sons offers some of the best deals in the valley. If you’d like to see what discounts are on the docket at the moment please click here. AB&R Selected as One of the 2015 Careerbuilder® Top Companies to Work for in Arizona

AB&R (American Barcode and RFID) announced today they have earned a top spot on the list of 2015 Careerbuilder® Top Companies to Work for in Arizona.

CareerBuilder® and Republic Media (The Arizona Republic, azcentral.com, La Voz) announced today that AB&R has earned a spot on the list of 2015 Careerbuilder® Top Companies to Work for in Arizona.

All participating companies completed a two-part assessment process conducted by the independent workplace research firm, Best Companies Group (BCG). Part one of process was the Employer Questionnaire, where BCG asked about benefits, HR policies and the fun things the employers do for their employees. Part two was the Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey which measured the employee experience in 8 core focus areas: “Leadership and Planning”, “Corporate Culture and Communications”, “Role Satisfaction”, “Work Environment”, “Relationship with Supervisor”, “Training, Development and Resources”, “Pay and Benefits”, and “Overall Engagement”. Using the combined data from both parts of the survey process, BCG was able to determine who was good enough to make the list. This year, 75 organizations made the grade.

“This Top Company list gets more competitive each year”, says Denise Gredler, CEO of BestCompaniesAZ and consulting partner for the program. “The list winners had very impressive employee survey results averaging an overall favorable rate of 88 percent and an overall employee engagement score of 91 percent.”

"We are proud to be recognized as one of Arizona’s "Top Companies to Work for", says Mike Stryzcek, CEO. "Our ability to attract and retain top talent directly contributes to our consistent growth, profitability and industry-leading products and solutions. We are most proud that our employees’ experiences and feedback are at the core of this honor and recognition.”

AB&R’s employee turnover rate remains extraordinarily low. By reducing turnover, AB&R reduces recruitment costs, retains knowledge and builds deeper, longer-term customer relationships.

Seventy-five “Top Companies" were honored at an awards breakfast reception on June 25, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix and were published in a special supplement in the June 28th issue of The Arizona Republic, as well as online at topcompanies.azcentral.com and http://www.BestCompaniesAZ.com.

The product of Diane Hastings and Laura Chapnek, the Down Right Beautiful Fashion show proves to be a smashing success

The product of Diane Hastings and Laura Chapnek, the Down Right Beautiful Fashion show proves to be a smashing success. The Down Right Beautiful Fashion show is an effort to support the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and raise money for the Down Syndrome Clinic at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The candy land themed event was held at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). Over two hundred guests flocked to the venue to support the models, the hospital, and the clinic. In attendance was Miss Arizona, lauded for her beauty inside and out. A silent auction also took place in which a signed guitar by Train was the main attraction.

The event was engineered by wife of Dave Hastings, Diane Hastings. She put the event on in order to support children suffering from downs syndrome, and bring together families with a downs syndrome child. She has high hopes for the event in the future and had the following words to offer concerning next years event:

“Buy a ticket and you get to watch the most beautiful people, inside and out, model super cute clothes! Plus, you can shop the amazing auction items, eat a lovely meal and view the musical instrument museum. If you cannot make it this year, please consider making a donation to the clinic. You will be a blessing to so many families in need!” said Diane Hastings, in an interview with Patricia Barney.

No doubt the smiles on the models faces is worth price of admission. It was said that the atmosphere of the event was teeming with comradery and care. Also, the silent auction gave attendees a chance to bid on their next vacation, while simultaneously contributing to a just cause.

In the future, Diane Hastings wants the event to grow and gain support from Arizonans. Her highest hope is that people will everywhere will know, love, and support the downright beautiful fashion show. The generous patroness of the event had these words to offer about her future plans,
“I would like every family who has a child with Down syndrome to automatically think of the clinic when looking for resources to support the needs of their child,” said Diana Hastings.

No doubt everyone in the valley is behind Diane in her effort to support children and adults with downs syndrome.

National Debt Relief Talks About Instances When It Is Okay To Borrow Money

National Debt Relief shares in an article some of the instances when it is acceptable to take out a loan. The article looks at some specific instances when consumers can take up debt and explains why it would be a better financial move than avoiding debt.

National Debt Relief shares in an article published June 3, 2015 some of the instances when it is acceptable to take out a loan. The article titled “5 Times When It’s Okay To Borrow Money” looks at some specific instances when consumers can take up debt and explains why it would be a better financial move than avoiding debt.

The article starts off by highlighting the fact that a lot of books and even financial experts all say that consumers need to avoid debt. It takes away so much from the consumer’s future that it should be avoided at all cost. And in most cases this is good advice. When consumers borrow money they’re really borrowing from their future self. They get to use the money now but it won’t seem like such a good idea several years from now when they’re still trying to repay it.

One of the things that people need to look into is when they cannot cover their medical bills and run the risk of getting into debt. Although the credit reporting bureaus have given a 180-day grace period for consumers to pay their medical debts before it gets reflected on their scores, there are times that the bill is too high and consumers are tempted to swipe it in their cards.

The article suggests that it might be better to take out a personal loan to cover the bill rather than using the more convenient credit card. This is because the interest rate on personal loans might be lower than the ones being used by credit card lenders. This can mean valuable savings in the future when they compare the total interest paid on the loan.

The article also explains how moving either interstate or intrastate or even abroad can easily break the budget when everything is summed up. Even the small things like the boxes and wrappers can amount to thousands of dollars at the end of the day. In these cases, it is also better to take out a personal loan rather than charging everything in the card.

There are instances when consumers would like to make some home improvements and rather than using their cards to pay for the expense, they might look into a home equity as a line of credit from their lenders which will have a much lower rate than personal loans and even credit cards.
