Theo nguồn tin trên trang mạng prweb.com

MESA, AZ (PRWEB) MAY 14, 2016 Scottsdale Medical Imaging (SMIL) is proud to underwrite this unique, one-show-only, celebration of courage and inspiration. A 2nd Act: Survivorship Takes the Stage, debuts at the Mesa Arts Center on May 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. Ten Phoenix area women, all survivors of cancer, share personal stories of taking their lives back after a cancer diagnosis. These remarkable women will change the thoughts about what it means to be a survivor. Every performance of A 2nd Act: Survivorship Takes the Stage accomplishes 3 important goals: Celebrates the breath-taking courage of the performers. Inspires the audience to create their own 2nd Acts, regardless of their life challenge. Raises funds for micro grants, allowing other women survivors to follow their dreams, give back, and honor their cancer journeys. Scottsdale Medical Imaging knows how difficult the journey can be, and is, for everyone battling cancer. Denise Reddy, MD, SMIL Chairperson of Women’s Imaging states: “Imaging and early detection saves lives, but cancer survivors and their scans can have a complicated relationship. Some may have first learned they had cancer from a scan, or that their cancer has shrunk or disappeared, or that it has come back. Patients refer to this as “scanxiety” and at its worst some feel like they are living life a few months at a time, from one scan to the next. At SMIL, we encourage our patients to talk with us, and not be afraid to ask questions. It is so important to keep listening to our patients, to listen to their stories, to be inspired by those taking part in ‘A 2nd Act’.” Scottsdale Medical Imaging will be providing an interactive photo kiosk at the event to answer any questions. The performance emcee will be Phoenix’s own Morning Mayor, Dave Pratt. Pratt spent over three award-winning decades on Phoenix radio and is a cancer survivor himself. Scottsdale Medical Imaging is honored to take part in this amazing event and hear the stories of great courage and determination. Event Information: The performance will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 2:00pm, at the Mesa Arts Center, 1 Main Street, Mesa, AZ, located in downtown Mesa at the southeast corner of Main and Center Streets. Parking is available at the center and the Metro Light Rail makes a stop at Center & Main St., directly across from the venue. Tickets are $24.50 and available at http://www.mesaartscenter.com/index.php/shows/other-presenters/a-2nd-act–survivorship-takes-the-stage. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has placed LOC-I in the top aviation position of its 2016 Most Wanted List of safety concerns.

MESA, ARIZONA (PRWEB) MAY 12, 2016 Aviation Performance Solutions (APS) announced today that it has partnered with the Embraer Jet Operators Association (EJOA) to provide industry-leading Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) to its members. APS will be on-display and speaking at PHENOMENAL 2016 in Santa Fe, NM, an EJOA owner/operator conference combined with the Embraer Executive Jets Executive Operators Conference. On auction is a $14,000 3-day jet upset training program at APS in Arizona with multiple UPRT flights to include a culminating high-altitude, high-mach, training session with APS in the A4 Skyhawk supported by Discovery Air Defence. Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) is defined as flight that occurs outside of the normal flight envelope with an inability of the pilot to control the aircraft. In a presentation delivered to the NBAA Safety Committee in January 2016 by the NTSB, LOC-I was identified as the primary category of accident in every segment of aviation including personal, instructional, business and corporate flying sectors. As the NTSB’s top aviation safety concern in its 2016 Most Wanted List, LOC-I accounts for more than 40% of all fatalities in general aviation. According to the FAA’s website, a fatal LOC-I accident occurs every four days in the United States. APS’s global network of dedicated flight schools specialize in effectively delivered UPRT which mitigates the LOC-I threat to air safety through pilot education and practical skill development. “The Embraer Jet Operators Association is dedicated to keeping our members aware of air safety concerns and partnering with the industry’s leading training experts to reduce their operational risks,” said Mark Twombly, the association’s Executive Director. “As the established leader in providing effective, industry-compliant UPRT, APS has a variety of solutions to work within the budgets of our members. They can integrate tablet-based apps, high performance jet training and advanced simulator resources to fit the specific needs of individuals or organizations.” In addition to the auction at PHENOMENAL 2016, APS will be providing the EJOA members with fleet-relevant training and safety articles throughout the year to appear on the association’s website as well as in Contrails Magazine. “After speaking at the Embraer Executive Jets Safety Standdown in January 2016, it was evident that Embraer is passionately devoted to the ongoing safety of its diverse customer base. APS is honored by the opportunity to establish a safety-focused partnership with the Embraer Jet Operators Association,” says Paul BJ Ransbury, president of Aviation Performance Solutions. “Together, we will take firm and progressive steps forward to maximize air safety and provide EJOA members with the information, resources and training programs necessary to ultimately overcome aviation’s leading fatal threat to air safety, Loss of Control In-flight.” About Aviation Performance Solutions Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (APS), headquartered at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona USA, trains thousands of professional pilots and instructors in comprehensive upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) skill development. APS, an IS-BAO registered company, provides integrated LOC-I solutions via industry-leading app-based, on-aircraft (jet and piston), and full-flight simulator upset prevention & recovery training. Hastings & Hastings Speaks on Vehicle Safety and Tire Maintenance

Theo tin Hastings & Hastings

PHOENIX, May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — With summer approaching, tire maintenance becomes an increasingly important aspect of vehicle safety. Throughout the year, evidence of tire failure can be seen everywhere. Broken, shredded, torn up, black piles of rubber litter streets and highways along every city across Arizona. Reminders of tire failures past. Tire failure is one of the leading causes of accidents. It is also one of the most avoidable. Hastings and Hastings offer advice. Blowouts are among the most dangerous forms of tire failure. Blowouts typically occur because a tire is underinflated. When a tire is underinflated, patterns of wear begin to develop in the exterior of the tire. When the tire is exposed to rugged road conditions or extreme heat, these worn areas can tear, resulting in a sudden release of air from the inside of the tire. This causes the tire to explode. Several other factors can contribute to tire failure. Overloading a car with heavy cargo can place a strain on a tire. If that tire is already worn, it could give way. Even new, pristine tires can fail under extreme conditions. For this reason, it is important to stay mindful when driving, particularly during the summer. In the event that tire failure does occur, there are steps that drivers can take to avoid an accident. It is important that drivers avoid slamming on the breaks. Rather, they should gradually slow down while removing themselves from traffic before coming to a complete stop. If the speed of the vehicle drops dramatically, it is possible to lose control of the car. If that occurs, drivers should gently counter steer. The best way to prevent tire blowouts is by keeping tires properly inflated. Drivers should check their tire pressure on a regular basis. If it drops below PSI recommended by the manufacturer, they should inflate it at the earliest possible convenience. “Summer is a particularly common time for blowouts to occur. Asphalt can reach up to 200 degrees in the summertime, and there is no way for your tires to escape. You can run under some shade and enjoy a lemonade or go inside and enjoy the air conditioning; your tires don’t have that option. I always advise that individuals pay extra attention to tire maintenance during the summer months,” said David Hastings, the founder of Hastings & Hastings. Maid Right of Greater Phoenix is proud to announce that owner, Jeff Woods, was the recipient of two national awards at the Maid Right Corporation’s annual awards dinner: the #1 in Maid Right Home Cleaning Sales Award for 2015 and the Distinguished Service Award. Danessa Itaya, Vice President of Maid Right Franchises, presented Woods with his awards.

Theo nguồn tin trên trang mạng prweb.com

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, USA (PRWEB) MAY 05, 2016 The 2016 national gathering of Maid Right franchise owners was held on February 12, 2016 at the Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Woods was one of hundreds of Maid Right franchise owners in the nation who attended the event. When asked what this award means to him and Maid Right of Greater Phoenix, Woods had this response: I’m honored and thrilled to win this award, there are over 30 regional offices throughout the United States and Canada. I want to thank all of our loyal customers and my staff for their support in this achievement. When Maid Right franchises first became available in 2012 Woods and Tod Higinbotham recognized this unique home cleaning business as the opportunity they were both looking for. Together they launched Maid Right of Greater Phoenix, carrying the franchise slogan, “Life is short, clean less.” It was the proprietary cleaning process and unique business model used by Maid Right that attracted Woods to the franchise. He realized this is what would make his company stand out from all the other residential cleaning companies in the Phoenix area. Maid Right does more than clean a home, it uses a patented disinfecting process called EnviroShield® that kills 99% of the most common viruses and bacteria in your household. In addition to this featured service, the Maid Right cleaning services utilizes the most current cleaning technologies available, from micro-fiber cloths to HEPA air filtration vacuums. “With Maid Right, customers love the fact that they get a quality service guarantee, high-grade chemicals, including EnviroShield, and the same cleaners every time,” says Woods. Woods has found that the superior cleaning process offered by Maid Right of Greater Phoenix sells itself. He really doesn’t credit himself with achieving the record number of sales they accomplished in 2015. Word of mouth is still the best marketing tool available. It was the testimonials of the many satisfied customers of Maid Right of Greater Phoenix that he credits with driving their success. About Maid Right of Greater Phoenix: Maid Right of Greater Phoenix has no equal in the world of home cleaning services. It has combined a state-of-the-art, science-driven cleaning process with an old-fashioned business practice that ensures customers receive “the care and service of a mom-and-pop cleaner,” says Woods, adding that “Maid Right franchisees owners also get the professional capability of a national company, so it’s a win-win situation.” Maid Right of Greater Phoenix 10439 South 51st Street, Suite 210 Phoenix.
