These relationships cross physical borders, remove cultural barriers, and foster greater awareness, empathy and understanding that sustain long-term partnerships and mutually beneficial exchanges and outcomes – they are vital to the well being of our City and our world,” said Paula West, president and CEO, Phoenix Sister Cities, Inc. “We are honored by the response the Mayor’s Gala receives from Phoenix citizens – each year the event gets bigger and better! Last year 500 attendees joined our celebration, supported our programs and contributed to our mission of connecting hearts and minds. We look forward to hosting another sold-out crowd this year.” In addition to Title Sponsors Arizona State University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, gala supporters include Presidential Sponsors: Copperpoint Mutual Insurance Company, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport; and Ambassador Sponsor: Transdev, a world leader in public transport.
