Theo nguồn tin của Open Table trên trang mạng PRNewswire SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — As we anticipate dining on the most delicious ingredients of the late summer harvest at restaurants around the nation, OpenTable, the world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations and part of The Priceline Group (NASDAQ: PCLN), today unveiled the 100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in America for 2015. These awards reflect the combined opinions of more than 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners for more than 20,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Showcasing both new and established restaurants in some of the nation’s most rapidly growing dining destinations, the complete list features winning restaurants in 22 states and the District of Columbia, and includes Al’s Place in San Francisco, La Vara in Brooklyn, and Parachute in Chicago. New York has 12 winning restaurants, followed by California with 11, Texas with nine, and Minnesota and Oregon with eight each. Colorado, Illinois, and Pennsylvania each have six honorees, while Washington boasts five. Arizona, Louisiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Virginia have three each. Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin all have two eateries. Connecticut, Florida, Nebraska, and Ohio are also represented. Newer restaurants proved most popular, with a quarter of the eateries having opened in 2015 alone, and the majority of honorees were founded in the last five years. Restaurants serving American fare dominate the awards; however, the list represents cuisines from every corner of the globe, including Asian, Basque, French, Israeli, Mexican, Middle Eastern, and Scandinavian. “This year’s honorees are where the culinary magic happens, where the rules of fine dining are being rewritten,” says Caroline Potter, OpenTable Chief Dining Officer. “Whether they’re reviving forgotten cooking techniques, championing the latest sustainable ingredient, or creating unexpectedly delicious and unique flavor pairings, these restaurants are where you can truly wow the foodies in your life.” The list of the 100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in America are generated from more than 5 million restaurant reviews collected from verified OpenTable diners between August 1, 2014, and July 31, 2015. All restaurants with a minimum “overall” score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “fit for foodies” category. Based on this methodology, the following restaurants, listed in alphabetical order, comprise the 100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in America according to OpenTable diners.
