Steele Indian School Picnic Ramadas Available for Reservations
http://phoenix.gov/news/092612ramadas.html Sept. 26, 2012 Park visitors who want to use Steele Indian School Park’s new group ramada area can now reserve spots. The new group ramada area consists of seven individual ramada areas assemble in a semi-circle in the northwest section of the park near the playground and basketball and volleyball courts. Visitors can book one or all seven ramadas for company picnics, weddings, or celebrations of any kind. Each ramada can hold 32 people and all seven can accommodate a total of 224 people. The cost is $25 per ramada per hour. Patrons can reserve spots up to six months in advance and can be reserved between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. for daily use. Reservations can be made at any park office or department community center.
