Join Councilman Simplot for Meeting Featuring Historic Preservation Officer

Oct. 16, 2012 Councilman Tom Simplot Residents are invited to join Councilman Tom Simplot for this month’s central area community meeting at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, at Circle H Barbecue, 730 W. Camelback Road. Councilman Simplot welcomes the city’s Historic Preservation Officer Michelle Dodds to discuss the city’s role in the preservation of Phoenix’s historic buildings and homes. Dodds will cover topics such as residential historic districts, do’s and don’ts of applying for historic preservation grants, and the City’s current historic preservation projects.
