Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov Sept. 6, 2013 Are you lost when people refer to tweets, hashtags or like me/follow me on Facebook and Twitter? Not sure what @PHXNeighborhood, #fb or #Phoenix mean? The city of Phoenix Public Information Office and Information Security and Privacy Office are hosting a free workshop on social media practices, and online privacy and security from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave. This workshop will guide you through social media basics for Facebook and Twitter and provide you with the information you need to protect you and your family online. Social media is here to stay and can be a valuable tool to communicate and share timely information about your community. It’s also important to understand the risks that exist when you share information about yourself online. Bring your laptop, tablet or smartphone and learn the dos and don’ts of communicating through social media. For more information or to register for this class, visit phoenix.gov/nsd/neighborhoodcollege or call 602-534-4444. Media Contact: Stephanie Ribodal Romero, 602-261-8512
