Free Fair Housing Workshop Offered

Goode Municipal Building, 251 W. Washington St., 10th floor, room CCG West. This workshop will offer ADRE-authorized fair housing REALTOR® re-licensing credit and is presented in partnership with the Southwest Fair Housing Council. Housing providers, including landlords, leasing agents, realtors and property managers, are encouraged to attend. Sponsored by the city of Phoenix Equal Opportunity Department, the workshop will explain housing discrimination investigations from the experts who conduct them. Fair housing practices apply to apartments, houses, condominiums and mobile home parks. It is illegal for housing providers to discriminate against tenants, rental applicants or customers on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status or sexual orientation.
