Phoenix Parks Centers Hosting Full-Day Winter Break Programs

Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov Dec. 2, 2013 Parks Mission Graphic for WebThough the APS Electric Light Parade is one of the biggest free holiday celebrations in the state each year, the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department also is offering families smaller, more intimate ways to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a visit with Santa. Dec. 6, 6 to 10 p.m. PJs in the Park – A Holiday Celebration, Civic Space Park, 444 N. Central Ave. This is a fun filled free holiday celebration, presented by the Downtown Partnership, that features two free movies in the park, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Polar Express.” Families also can visit with Santa and enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and arts and crafts. Visitors are encourages to dress warm and bring a blanket or sleeping bag to enjoy the movies. No registration is required. More information is available by phone at (602) 262-4734. Dec. 21, 9 to 11 a.m., Breakfast with Santa, Desert West Community Center, 6501 W. Virginia Ave. This event is for kids ages 3 to 10 and features breakfast and a chance to visit with Santa.
