Theo nguồn tin trên mạng của phoenix.gov Human Services Department Invites Residents to Health and Resource Fairs March 17, 2014 Valley residents are invited to attend two free Health and Resource fairs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Maryvale Community Center, 4420 N. 51st Ave., and Saturday, March 29, at South Mountain Community Center, 212 E. Alta Vista Road. Attendees can get information about Medicaid (AHCCCS) eligibility, enrollment and benefits; Medicare benefits and options; Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) enrollment assistance; how to access health services through community health clinics; and other community services and programs that help promote healthy families and save money. Both fairs will have free optional health screenings for blood pressure, body mass index checks, lung functioning tests, HIV testing, kidney disease risk evaluations and more. The Phoenix Fire Department also will be present to provide information about car seat safety, fire safety and drowning prevention. Families also will be able to enjoy fun activities including a free farmer’s market, face painting, performances by Beat for Life Rhythm Drumming group, money-saving tips, raffles and much more. Donations of disposable undergarments for adults (adult diapers) will be accepted to help low-income seniors and disabled individuals. A special raffle will be held for those who donate.
