Resources for Developing a Successful Business 2:30 – 4 p.m. – Thursday, June 12 Learn about Arizona Commerce Authority’s free, online resource center for information on business licensing and resources to help you get started. One Man’s Uncommon Path to Entrepreneurship 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Friday, June 13 Author and businessman Steve Werner will share his experiences from a career in trading to startups. Improve Your Business Plan and Marketing Strategy 12 – 1 p.m. – Thursday, June 19 An Arizona Small Business Development Center Network consultant will help you determine where to focus on your business plan, marketing strategy or financial statements to bring your idea to market successfully. Lifecycle of a Startup 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Friday, June 20 David Wachtel will share the ups and downs of a startup and key areas to focus on: marketing, sales, financial management, human resources and performance. Basics for Nonprofit Wannabees 12 – 12:45 p.m. – Thursday, June 26 CPA Carolyn Sechler and attorney Ellis Carter will discuss options and alternatives if you are considering starting a socially-responsible organization, including nonprofits and B Corporations. Setting Up an LLC 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Friday, June 27 Neetu Rao will discuss the process of filing for an LLC in Arizona.
