Residents Invited to "How to" Workshop on Social Media
March 5, 2015 Are you confused when people talk about retweets, status updates, hashtags, the “@” symbol or “DM me”? Need help understanding how social media works? The city of Phoenix Communications Office is hosting a free how-to workshop on social media from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave., fourth floor lecture room. This workshop will guide you through social media basics for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Social media is constantly changing and can be a valuable tool to communicate and share timely information about your community. Bring your laptop, tablet or smartphone and learn the basics and more about communicating with friends, family and organizations through social media.
