International Tour Takes Space Rock Man Geoff Notkin to Appearances in Toronto, Phoenix, Manchester Starting May 19

World-renowned meteorite hunter will discuss his adventures in adventure television.

Emmy-winning television star and global adventurer Geoff Notkin will be making a series of appearances in three countries over the next three consecutive weeks as part of his 2015 Weird Earth Orbit Tour. The upcoming tour stops include public speaking engagements in Toronto, Canada; Phoenix, Arizona; and Manchester, England.

Known to audiences around the world as the star of Science channel's award-winning adventure series "Meteorite Men," Notkin is also an author, producer, spaceflight advocate, and globetrotting meteorite hunter. His talents and achievements in multiple entertainment and scientific genres have made him a highly sought-after public speaker, regaling audiences with the humorous and harrowing tales of his amazing adventures.

Notkin has traveled to 45 countries and some of Earth's most remote areas, including northern Siberia, Chile’s Atacama Desert, the Australian Outback, and has crossed the Arctic Circle three times. Along with hosting his own television series, he has been featured on documentaries for National Geographic, Discovery, PBS, the BBC, The History Channel, A&E, and The Travel Channel. His current on-camera project, "Meteorite Hunters Unlimited," is in post-production.

May 19 – Geoff Notkin is the special guest presenter for ROM Speaks, a unique lecture series at the Royal Ontario Museum that brings together like-minded individuals for thought-provoking discussions, including a post-event reception. PHOENIX, ARIZONA:

May 28-31 – Notkin will be at Phoenix Comicon as both a guest speaker and exhibitor. On Friday, May 29, he will join an all-star panel to discuss "Blocks 'N' Rocks: Building STEAM with LEGO, Meteorites, Spaceflight, Fine Arts and TV Science." On Saturday, May 30, he will emcee the regional edition of NASA FameLab, a global competition featuring a powerhouse display of science communication. Notkin's commercial meteorite company, Aerolite Meteorites, Inc. will also have a large display of enthralling space rocks for exhibit and sale in the Exhibit Hall.
