SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (PRWEB) AUGUST 04, 2015 Sponsored by Gila River Casinos, the charity event helps raise funds and awareness for the New Foundation AZ, which is a 501(c) nonprofit organization. According to the New Foundation AZ spokesperson, the organization is still looking for more sponsors for the tournament. Sponsors will get a package that includes a complimentary foursome for the tournament, as well as getting their company advertised on a banner at one of the course’s tee boxes. Besides the 18-hole golf tournament, there will also be a silent auction. The New Foundation AZ is looking for donations for the auction as well. According to their spokesperson, past items that went over well included sports memorabilia, event tickets, travel packages and jewelry. Gila River Casinos has been the biggest and primary sponsor of the event for years. The company has three large casinos around the Phoenix area, including Vee Quiva, Lone Butte and Wild Horse Pass. Whirlwind Golf Club is nearby Wild Horse Pass and offers a Southwest golf experience. The course, which was designed by Gary Panks, stays respectful of the Gila River Indian community while still testing a golfer’s skills.
