The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale and the Arizona Restaurant Association Partner to Host Live and Local Culinary Event Presented by GoDaddy

This year’s event presented by GoDaddy, the world’s largest technology provider dedicated to small businesses, will take place Sunday, November 8th at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Live & Local will celebrate Arizona’s best food, music and spirits and will feature an extensive culinary and entertainment lineup including local restaurant and beverage partners, celebrity mixologists and entertainers. The event is open to the public and all admission proceeds will go to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. To date, the event has garnered the support of local businesses and corporations including presenting sponsor GoDaddy and event sponsor Arizona Restaurant Association. Other sponsors include GPS Insight, JP Morgan Chase, Tiffany & Bosco, Wells Fargo, Chasse Building Team, Vonage Business, Wellington Group, Sunbelt Holdings Mary Ellen & Robert Mckee, APS, Republic Services, Cox, Mutual Bank of Omaha, Lewis Roca Rothgerber, UMB Bank, Scottsdale Insurance Company, South Pacific Financial and Charles Schwab. Among the restaurants scheduled to be at the event are some of the Valleys best local hot spots including Wildflower Bread Company, The Melting Pot, Salty Señorita, Joe’s Real BBQ, Liberty Market, Posh, Postino and many more. Along with local restaurants, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale has partnered with several local bars and breweries such as 3 Amigos Tequila, SanTan Brewery, Sleepy Dog Brewery and Four Peaks Brewing. The event will also feature expert mixologists and wine samplings from Arizona vineyards. Guests of Live & Local can also look forward to plenty of entertainment including local bands, private parties for VIP guests and more. The event will be open to the public and all admission proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. In between food and drink tastings, guests can enjoy live performances from local bands and musicians including YouTube sensation and cover artist Adam Shero, Phoenix-based Ryan Sims Band and 80’s retro cover band Rock Lobster. East Valley favorite Elvis Before Noon is set to headline the Live & Local event with a setlist which includes tons of fan favorites including The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Weezer, Elvis and other Motown and Rockabilly hits.
