PRESIDENTS DAY HOLIDAY NOTICE Feb. 10, 2016 City of Phoenix offices will be closed Monday, February 15, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. Here’s how city services are affected: Solid Waste: Trash and recycling will be collected as usual. There will be no change in collection day. Please place your trash and recycling containers 4 feet apart at the curb by 5:30 a.m. Transit: Phoenix buses, Dial-a-Ride, and Valley Metro Light Rail will operate on Sunday schedules. Express and RAPID routes will not operate. Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Transfer Stations will be closed. Library: Burton Barr Central Library and all branch libraries normally open on Mondays will be closed.
