Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Notice
Jan. 12, 2017 City of Phoenix offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Here’s how city services are affected: Solid Waste: Trash collection will occur as usual. Please place your trash and recycling containers 4 feet apart at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on collection day. Transit: Phoenix buses, Dial-a-Ride, and Valley Metro Light Rail will operate on Sunday schedules. Express and RAPID routes will not operate. For up-to-date information please visit ValleyMetro.org. Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Transfer Stations will be closed. Libraries: All Phoenix library locations will be closed.
