PHOENIX, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Since 1986, FIBCO Family Services, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit, serves the community through four main program areas: Food and Clothing Distribution, African Immigrant and Refugee Support Services, Job Readiness Programming, and Affordable Housing for Individuals with Disabilities and Youth in Foster Care. Through these programs, FIBCO provides services to hundreds of individuals and families each and every week. Founded in December 1986 by Dr. Warren H. Stewart, Sr., Senior Pastor of First Institutional Baptist Church, FIBCO’s presence in downtown Phoenix, has allowed it to stand as a beacon of light and hope in the heart of the city for 30 years. On April 1st, FIBCO will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with a recognition banquet at The Hope Center, located at 1141 East Jefferson St. in Phoenix, Arizona, from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm. “The event is open to the public and will be the first of many events highlighting the efforts of an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in our community, especially those that are vulnerable or underserved,” says Damara Lotten, Executive Director of FIBCO. Individual tickets are $30 dollars. Sponsorship opportunities are also available at the table, gold, and platinum levels for donations of $500, $1,000, and $2,500 respectively.
